Rare Harz frog lamp as an official lamp.
On the shield monogram "RHR" and date "1790".
Brass (cast brass pot with soldered cover plate), wrought iron hook and bracket. Pot: 2 x 13.4 x 9.2 cm. H total 13 cm.
Honorary lamp for firing the oil with wick snuffer on the closed pot; on the sliding lid, sleeve for the wick holder on the brass chain. Brass wick tongue soldered to the inside of the base. A bracket with a triangular escutcheon mounted in the rear grip hole of the pot by means of an acorn screw, a triple riveted brass escutcheon with 4 decorative holes and 3 crosses on the upper edge as well as engraving. The brass swivel with acorn pivot bearing and S-shaped intermediate link attached to the carrying point hook. Some signs of age/use.
