Large classicist lidded goblet with eared handles, on a round foot and square plinth. Decorated with pearl ribbon decoration, engraved flower garlands, engraved coat of arms on the front and the banner "Lux Anglis Crux Francis". From the time of George II. Dents and some soldered areas.
Elizabeth Godfrey supplied the nobility with high-quality silver and gold work and was regarded as the outstanding goldsmith of the 18th century (https://nmwa.org/art/collection/george-ii-tea-caddy/).
