Oil/canvas. Signed lower right.
110 x 140 cm. Framed : 137 x 167 cm (gold stucco frame).
The animals at the edge of a body of water not far from the courtyard with the mill. Two small restored areas with adhesive backing.
German painter and restorer, studied under Schönleber and Baisch in Karlsruhe from 1880 to 1888. He then undertook study trips to the Netherlands and Italy, where he worked as a restorer.
