Desk in the style of the Dresden Baroque.
Ca. 1890/1900.
Walnut veneered. Approx. 80 x 119 x 74 cm.
Ladies' desk in a curved shape typical of the style with leg recess and pull-out writing surface with red velvet cover, central drawer and 3 small drawers on each side; decorated with ribbon inlays, burl veneer and lavish rocaille fittings. Signs of age/use, knobs on the writing surface missing, traces of restoration.
