German painter, graphic artist and university lecturer in art methodology, initially trained as an art teacher in Altenburg, worked as such in the Lobenstein district. Later studied in Erfurt and Leipzig. Worked as a lecturer and professor at the "Dr. Theodor Neubauer" College of Education in Erfurt/Mühlhausen until 1992. Worked as a freelance artist in Erfurt from 1992.
