Hole plate music box with 15 plates. Polyphon.
Marked movement. Circa 1900.
Walnut veneered, leg inlays. 16 x 28 x 25 cm, Ø plates 21 cm. 3.9 + 1.2 kg.
"Music box" with curved sides, ratchet winding mechanism and setting lever in the front, thread inlay and empty cartouche on the hinged lid; glazed print in the lid (putti playing music). Gold-bronzed cast iron base plate with Polyphon lettering, next to it an applied Polyphon plaque. Movement with tongue comb and central drive.
