Company label with serial no. 4125. late 19th century Switzerland.
Oak stained dark, partly ebonized. 14 x 52 x 22 cm, L roller 28 cm. 9.3 kg.
"Roll music box" with vegetal carving on all sides and on the hinged lid. Partially embossed company label in the lid with 8 songs, e.g. Die Zigeunerin, Wilhelm Tell, Springinsfeld etc.. Inside ratchet winding mechanism and 2 adjusting levers; under the glazing the musical mechanism with stone-mounted wind wheel and switchable zither function. Restored, works.
