Signed brass full plate movement by "John Forrest London", marked London E.C. Chronometer Maker to the Admiralty, No. 2 134669 with trade mark, florally engraved balance cock, profiled movement pillars, lever escapement, chain and fusee, blued screws, keywind. Functional in short time test. Marked, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, minute ring, small second and spade hands.
Strolling lion/City mark Chester/year letter H (1826)/master's mark punched. Ø 5.5 cm. 146 g.
Lépine case with coin edge and guilloché back cover with empty coat of arms reserve. Slight signs of age and wear, partial defects, dial hairline cracked.
