1st half 19th century
Mahogany solid and veneered, ebonized wood, brass appliqués, pearl weaving of coloured glass beads. 49 x 32 x 8.5 cm, woven picture 18 x 16 cm.
Stepped plinth with brass paw-ball feet, plinth zone clamped between square pillars with brass rosette in oval cassette; above removable pearl picture with colourful birds of paradise in ebonized removable frame. Replacements and fine dry cracks to the veneer, damage to the woven picture, plastic glazing on both sides later.
