Rare cobalt fond lidded vase. Meissen.
1935-1947. model no. K 107 (new shape no. 51238).
Height: 41 cm.
Model by Ernst August Leuteritz and co-workers 1876-1880. Front finely painted in color after a painting by Philips Wouwerman (1619 Haarlem - 1668 Haarlem). Colored flower bouquet on the reverse. With floral and ornamental relief decoration all around, decorated with laurel leaf festoons, rosettes and crowning bows. Four painted ornaments in gold on the shoulder, rich gold decoration. Incised mark, impressed mark, sword mark. Standing foot, one leaf tip minimally chipped.
