Model year: 1764, painted in color, rich gold decoration. Inscription on the jug: Z stands for Zanni, a figure from the Commedia dell`Arte, M stands for Joseph Ferdinand Müller, Royal Polish and Electoral Saxon court comedian, who arrived in Dresden in 1738. Painter's mark, press marks, sword mark.
Kaendler, court sculptor and modeller, at the manufactory from 1731, head of the sculpture department from 1749, an ingenious creator of the European porcelain figure. Meissen manufactory price: 5690,- Euro * Partner auction Bergmann.
