The portrait epitomizes the elegant genre. The pretty young noblewoman in love with French charm radiates the lightness, grace and gracefulness that are indicative of Francois Boucher (French Rococo painter). Several of his pupils and successors are stylistically very close to him. Gilt stucco frame. Frame slightly defective, old relining.
