Businessman, marine and landscape painter, pupil of Emile van Marcke de Lummen in Paris. Traveled Europe and the Orient, working alternately in Paris, Berlin, Düsseldorf and Munich. Settled in Vienna from 1890, where he founded and directed a ladies' school. Represented at exhibitions in Vienna, Munich and Berlin, member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus * Partner auction Bergmann.
