Gensler, painter, draughtsman, graphic artist, brother of Johann Günther and Johann Martin, studied at the academy in Munich, pupil of Peter von Cornelius. Traveled the Baltic Sea, the Netherlands and Belgium. Founding member of the Hamburg Artists' Association in 1832, works in various German museums * Partner auction Bergmann.
