Gensler, painter, draughtsman, graphic artist, brother of Johann Günther and Johann Martin, studied at the academy in Munich, pupil of Peter von Cornelius. Traveled the Baltic Sea, the Netherlands and Belgium. 1832 founding member of the Hamburg Artists' Association, works in various German museums * Partner auction Bergmann.
