Late 19th century
Palisander veneered, pear and maple marquetry, mahogany blindwood, brass fittings. 20 x 29 x 25 cm. 2.1 kg.
Body with curved front, hinged lid at the top similar to a writing desk with balustrade on the shelf. Fine ornamental marquetry on the lid and fine thread inlays on all sides (except the back). In the front 1 drawer and 1 false drawer with ornate brass fittings. Bottom strips partly professionally replaced, lid slightly warped, otherwise minimal signs of age/use.
