Crown-wound spring movement. Functional in short time test. Silver-colored dial with profiled dial center, Arabic numerals and hour indices, minute ring and modern hands, marked "Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso".

18 k hallmarked, hallmark, company mark. L approx. 21 cm. 46 g.

Rectangular case with brilliant-cut diamonds and rubies on the front and back, crown with ruby cabochon. On a brown leather strap with 18k gold pin buckle. Minimal signs of wear.

In a blue case. The special feature of the REVERSO from Jaeger-LeCoultre is the special sliding and reversible mechanism, which hides the dial and reveals the case back instead. The Reverso was designed by Jaeger-LeCoultre in the early 1930s and enabled British Army officers, among others, to wear the watch during polo matches in India, as the dial could thus be protected from possible impacts from the polo mallets.
