Large portal clock with alabaster columns.
1st half 19th century
Unmarked movement with quarter hour strike on 2 gongs, lateral repeating train, separate setting lever for deactivating the striking mechanism. In need of revision. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, minute ring and javelin hands.
Ebonized wood, partly carved and stucco-gilt, brass, white alabaster. H 56.5 cm. 4.7 kg.
Biedermeier column clock with stepped base, grooved columns and round-arched pediment with flanking tenon decoration. Signs of age and wear, with defects, additions and partly missing decorative elements, movement cover missing.
With key and pendulum with thread suspension.
