End of the 19th century. Case No. 9146.
"W[illia]m Sturrock Edinburgh 12 St. Andrew Squ[are]" engraved brass movement with lever escapement, screw compensation balance, blued Breguet balance spring and blued screws, screwed chatons, jewels, crown winding, minute repeater movement with 2 hammers on 2 gongs. Functional in the short time test. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, minute ring, small second and blued spade hands.
18 ct hallmarked, Helvetia mark, master's mark AJ, gold dust cover. Ø 5.3 cm. 120 g.
Smooth spring lid case. Minimal signs of age and wear.
