Silver English verge pocket watch. Norton, London.

"Norton, London" signed brass full plate movement with floral engravings and florally pierced verge bridge, profiled movement pillars, verge escapement, chain and fusee, blued screws, keywind. Functional in short time test. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, minute ring and brass hands.
Strolling lion/city mark London/year letter U (1815)/master's mark and customs mark King George III (1786-1821) hallmarked. Clock Ø 5.3 cm, mantle Ø 6.2 cm. Total 133 g.
Smooth case with high bow bridge, movement with dust cover. Smooth silver watch case. Signs of age and wear, traces of soldering.
