Embossed tower mark "Mettlach" with the addition "Ges. Gesch.", from 1887. Monogrammed "JSt". Design: Johann Baptist STAHL (1869-1932, Alsatian porcelain sculptor and inventor of the Phanolith). Model no. 2795.  
Stoneware, matt green ground, translucent white figure reliefs in the style of pâte-sur-pâte painting and Wedgwood ware, floral chromolite decoration. Ø 45 cm. 
  Art Nouveau wall plate with a scene of figures singing a love song in the Renaissance style, framed by colorful flowers. Wire suspension.  Wall crack, hairline cracks in the phanolite.
