Company label in the lid, factory number "85111". Circa 1900.
Ebonized wood, luster print on the lid, colour lithograph company label, brass and iron. 18 x 34 x 34 cm, tongue combs 11 cm each, Ø plates 27 cm. Total weight 11.5 kg.
"Music box" in a simple body with a ratchet winding mechanism in the front and an adjusting lever on the side. Trilingual company label on the lid. Movement with central drive and 2 reed combs (1x without resonators). Sheet metal plates in old cardboard boxes: Wiener Fiakerlied, Liebesbrief, Die schöne Polin, Am grünen Strand der Spree, An der schönen blauen Dona, Die Freiwilligen, 2x Radetzky-Marsch etc. Dry cracks, black overglaze, combs and some plates corroded, a few plates somewhat dented, working.
