Unmarked, 1st half 19th century France.
Polychrome painted, decorated with gold. H 33.5 cm. Approx. 3.5 kg.
Ovoid body with two lion head handles, crater neck, round foot, on a square plinth. Gold ground, on the front a rectangular cartouche each depicting a tavern scene, on the reverse a gold-etched floral medallion. Gold rubbed, both vases restored at the base of the copus.
