Inside printed sticker with address in Stuttgart. Bow unmarked. Early 20th century  VOIGT, Johann Hermann (1874 Vienna - 1933 Stuttgart) 
Split spruce top, frame and split back of figured maple, fingerboard and tailpiece of ebony(?). Pernambuco(?) bow with stone nut frog. Wooden case lacquered black. L body 36 cm. L bow 73 cm. Total weight 2.1 kg.
 Violin with chin guard and enclosed replacement strings and 2 additional pegs. Bow with round bow stick and unusual frog. Open glue joint 6 cm at the top, ribbon tailpiece torn out, varnish damage. Bow plate missing, winding partially detached. Case with signs of age/use.
