French painter, pupil of Duboe, Cabanel and Quost. Regularly represented at the Paris Salon since 1874 with flower and genre pieces. In his later years, he turned mainly to decorative painting and embellished the walls of a school in the 6th arrondissement with flowers from different seasons.All lots with a limit (starting price) of at least €1,500 are checked against the Art Loss Register database.
