Ernst (actually Maximilian Maria Ernst), French painter, graphic artist and sculptor of German origin, 1919 co-founder of the Cologne Dada group, 1922 resident in Paris, came from Dadaism to Surrealism, became one of its most important representatives, 1941 active in New York and Sedona-Arizona, 1953 again in Paris * Partner auction Bergmann.
