Model year: 1907, naturalistically painted, incised mark, pressed mark, sword mark on the base crossed out five times (marked as a specimen to remain in the manufactory), artist's signet. In one of the hind legs and in the rear base, a fire crack visibly repaired by the manufactory in front of the staffage, a fire crack in the grass on the reverse, one ear partially restored, two horns restored.
Pilz, animal sculptor, studied at the academy in Berlin. The Meissen manufactory acquired around 30 models between 1905 and 1913 * Partner auction Bergmann.
