Model year: 1922, figure from the centerpiece "Reineke Fuchs". Painted in color and gold. Incised marks, pressed marks, sword mark, golden artist's signet, dated: 1922. Polished original mark, the incised numbering "3" can still be recognized. About three quarters of the figure (probably more than necessary) are covered with a synthetic resin glaze, the condition before the restoration is not known to us.
Esser, animal sculptor, artisan, studied at the academy in Berlin. 1919-1931 employee at the Meissen manufactory, from 1923 head of the master studio * partner auction Bergmann.
