Model year: 1912, from a series of 9 figures. Painted in color, gold painted. Unglazed base with glazed spots, incised mark, press mark, painter's mark, sword mark with small glaze dot, indistinct artist's signet.
Pilz, animal sculptor, studied at the academy in Berlin. The Meissen manufactory acquired around 30 models between 1905 and 1913. Meissen manufactory price: 7990,- Euro * Partner auction Bergmann.
