Lidded vase. Meissen.
1935-1947. model no. T 149 x (new shape no. 51352).
Height: 24.5 cm. 579 grams.
Mold model by Hugo Stein, decoration in the style of Paul Börner, model year: 1903 (mold). Painted all around in color, incised marks, sword mark. About two thirds of the vase, lid expertly restored.
Stein (Hugo Alexander), porcelain painter, studied at the academy in Dresden. 1912-1914 teacher at the drawing school of the Meissen manufactory. Worked as a freelance, self-designing artist for the manufactory * Partner auction Bergmann.
