Very large reservist's pipe with porcelain bowl, Torgau 1909-1912.
Turned black and light horn, stag roses, sour cherry stem, porcelain bowl and intermediate piece in relief (each with coloured overprint), flexible tube, cast metal appliqués partly painted bronze, brass, cord with tassels. L maximum 178 cm. 1.3 kg.
Magnificent floral pipe with numerous appliqués. Porcelain bowl with hat-shaped lid; on the wall a galloping hussar "Res. Webel", "2. Esk. Hus. Rgt. Nr. 12" and a written list of names. Brass appliqués (with portrait of Wilhelm II and a crowned monogram) on the spar. Porcelain centerpiece with galloping hussars. Horn cube with the same regimental name. Fully sculpted horse figure in a horseshoe and brass flag. Hussar hat made of horn under the final stag rose. Pin of the pipe stump partly broken off, minimal missing parts on the spar, hardly any signs of age/use.
