"Glashütter Präzisions-Uhren-Fabrik Akt.-Ges." marked, gilt three-quarter plate movement with a lever escapement patented by Ernst Kasiske in 1902, blued Breguet balance spring and screws, screw compensation balance, swan-neck fine adjustment, sapphire endstone, pivot bearing of the minute wheel with screwed chaton, 16 jewels, sunburst finish, crown winding. Functional in short time test. White enamel dial with recessed center, Arabic numerals, minute ring, small seconds and Louis XV hands, marked "Glashütter Präzisions-Uhren-Fabrik Akt.-Ges. Glashütte i.S.".

Hallmarked 585, hallmark, company mark, gold dust cover. Ø 5.4 cm, l 28 cm. Watch 113 g, chain 27 g.

"Louis XV" sprung lid case. On a 585 hallmarked gold chain with graduated links, small lobster clasp and spring ring. Minimal signs of wear.

The Glashütter Präzisions-Uhren-Fabrik Aktiengesellschaft Glashütte in Saxony existed from 1904 to 1918. The Glashütte watch manufacturer Ernst Kasiske was appointed as a director without his own shareholding.
