Small historicist round-lidded chest in the shape of a house.

Softwood polychrome painted. 22 x 28 x 20 cm. 1.6 kg.
Front door and window in the front and windows on the sides. Painted portrait of Jane Seymour (wife of King Henry VIII) after Hans Holbein the Younger (around 1536/1537) on the hinged lid and inscription: "Andachtsübungen Gebeter / Jungfrau Maria / Patronen / 1795". In the front "Gasthaus Wolf Jun 1866". Adhesive label of the "K.K. Gartenbau-Gesellschaft" on the lid. On the bottom adhesive label with indistinct handwriting and "Kais-Kön-Österr Stempelmarke 1 fl. Gulden". Traces of wear, minor missing parts, some signs of age/use.
