Hunting carriage lamp with engraved glass pane, Principality of Schwarzburg Rudolstadt.
18th/19th century
Sheet iron and brass painted black, silver-colored coating inside, appliqués of stag antlers and feet, clear glass with cut glass, electrification with 2 screw sockets and toggle switch. H 70 cm, Ø 19 cm. 5.0 kg.
Cylindrical lamp body with 3 round glazed panels, the front panel with cut glass: double-headed eagle with a plumed hat on the breastplate and above the arms as well as imperial insignia in the claws. Under the lamp 2 stag legs and antler appliqués as well as stag roses with a brimmed hat relief. Above the lamp a 2-fold stepped chimney with rich appliqués and decoration in the form of a sable hat. Some antler flaws, the socket has been passed over several times, recently electrified, function not tested.
