So-called “tall guy” ("Langer Kerl"), grenadier of the 2nd or 3rd battalion (yellow clothing) of the Old Prussian Infantry Regiment No. 6. “Long Fellows” is the popular name for the soldiers of this regiment, which is based on the unusual average height of those serving there at the time and was further emphasised by their tall caps. Also known as the “Potsdam Giant Guard” or “Grenadier Guard”.
