Brass, red plastic winding. L 28 cm. 0.3 kg.

Design jug in elongated ovoid shape as well as union of foot and handle. Minimal signs of age/use.

The designer Günter Kupetz initially began his studies as an architect, but soon switched to graphic design and finally to the sculpture class of Bernhard Heiliger. From 1954 to 1961, he worked for WMF, of which he is considered the most important designer. He later taught at universities in Kassel and Berlin. In 1968/69, he designed the standard fountain bottle for mineral water, which was produced around five billion times between 1971 and around 2013, making it the most common reusable packaging in Germany.
