Soup plate from a subsequent delivery for the "Coronation Service". In the mirror the depiction of the Saxon-Polish coat of arms, surrounded by Indian flowers, on the rim rich, ornamental gold painting. Rubbed.
The "Coronation Service" was probably made by order of Augustus the Strong on the occasion of the coronation of his son Frederick Augustus II, Saxon Elector Prince and Grand Duke of Lithuania, as King Augustus III of Poland on 18 January 1734.
