Baroque Westerwald stoneware jug with model decoration.

Gray, salt-glazed stoneware with incised, modelled and stamped decoration and cobalt blue painting. H 25.5 cm. 882 g.
Pear-shaped vessel with a fluted neck and stepped lip with a small snout, fluted strap handle and rolled handle base, stepped and fluted stand. A large rosette on the front, framed by tendrils and applied flowers. Pewter lid with shell pusher. Lid slightly dented, partial production-related glaze defects.
