Mainly pencil sketches but also charcoal and pen sketches, watercolors in places. Partly inscribed Switzerland and Austria.
Up to max. 33 x 24.5 cm.
Predominantly pencil and charcoal sketches. 2 possibly by the same artist, dated between 1856 and 1873. One sketchbook with multiple signatures "Antoinette Ch.", as well as notes indicating which sketches were copied from models; many Swiss landscapes, isolated architectural depictions.
A sketchbook with views of the Austrian Alps, as well as sketches of infantry soldiers and cavalry horses.
Each partly with works by other hands and in other techniques, e.g. children's drawings etc. One binding loose, torn pages, a few glue restorations.
