Fine stoneware, blue ground, all-round color painted incised decoration. Impression marks. Mouth minimally bumped.

* Christiansen, painter, graphic artist, applied artist, studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Munich and at the Académie Julian in Paris. 1899-1902 member and professor of the Darmstadt artists' colony, then worked in Paris. Since 1911 lecturer at the Kunstgwerbeschule in Wiesbaden, provided designs for all areas of arts and crafts, one of the main masters of German Art Nouveau.
