Height: 27.5-29 cm, base width: 21 cm.
Reddish body, painted light green and dark green, glazed. The bases filled, without visible manufactory marks. One small firing crack, minimal glaze flaking, one base partially restored, one figure with impure glaze.
* Hoetger, sculptor, painter, graphic artist, craftsman, studied at the academy in Düsseldorf. 1900-1907 active in Paris, 1909-1913 taught at the Darmstadt artists' colony, 1911 professor, active in Worpswede from 1916, moved to Switzerland in 1943.
