Height: 27.5 cm.

Painted in color. The first three examples were sold in 1928, by the end of 1931 only five examples were registered as sold (Meissener Manuskripte VIII, Johannes Rafael (1996) page 73). Incised mark, press mark, sword mark with dot. One boot tip restored.

* Scheurich, painter, graphic artist, illustrator, sculptor, modeller, studied at the academy in Berlin. From 1912 first works for the Meissen manufactory, KPM Berlin and Nymphenburg. Titular professor in 1924, his figures present exuberance and elegance, his facial expressions and gestures reflect temperament and passion, one of the most important porcelain sculptors of his time.
