Museal extremely rare large figurine group: Lady with Cupid. Meissen.

Height: 42 cm.
Painted in color, painted gold. Unglazed base, incised mark, impressed mark, painter's mark, sword mark. The buyer receives the reference book "Nachtrag Meissener Künstler-Figuren Modell-Nummern A 100-Z 300", Bergmann (2018) with illustration of the figurine group on the book title. Glaze firing defect on the back of the skirt base.
* Börner, painter, draughtsman, modeller and medallist, studied at the academy in Dresden. From 1911 at the Meissen manufactory, 1924 professor, from 1930 director of the art department, from 1937 professor at the academy in Dresden, 1943-1945 its director. Also produced models for KPM Berlin, Wallendorf and Volkstedt, the most versatile and prolific Art Deco artist at the Meissen manufactory.
