Height: 35 cm.
White porcelain. Unglazed base, incised mark, impressed mark, white mark, on the reverse sword mark with dot, white mark, incised signature, dated: 1925, numbered: 3, artist's signet on the front. Dark glaze defect on the reverse, small firing crack on the front.
* Börner, painter, draughtsman, modeller and medallist, studied at the academy in Dresden. From 1911 at the Meissen manufactory, 1924 professor, from 1930 director of the art department, from 1937 professor at the academy in Dresden, 1943-1945 its director. Also supplied models for KPM Berlin, Wallendorf and Volkstedt, the most versatile and prolific Art Deco artist at the Meissen manufactory.
