White porcelain. Figure from the parable "The Dragon" by Jewgeni Lwowitsch Schwarz (1896-1958), a famous parable on every kind of tyranny. From a series of 3 figures: "Elsa", "Lancelot" and "Dragon". Incised mark, pressed mark, sword mark on the base painted twice. Visible repairs to the sides of the buttocks, one firing crack with a continuous glaze crack, one visibly repaired firing crack in the crook of the arm and on the seat, six fingers, two thumbs restored, two balls of the chair crown missing.
* Strang, porcelain sculptor, studied at the academy in Dresden. 1973-2001 artistic director at the Meissen manufactory, since then freelance, based in Moritzburg from 1981, created numerous figures and wall sculptures * Meissen manufactory price: 24,000 euros.
