Each mat cut-out 44.5 x 30 cm. Framed & behind glass : Each 64.5 x 47 cm (gold stucco frame).
Two depictions of young lovers in a sunny landscape, a chariot drawn by a winged mythical creature with a young woman above a castle and probably a depiction from Hansel and Gretel with the father and children in the forest.
It could be this Ferdinand Wagner: Painter in Munich (1847 Passau - 1927 Munich), studied at the Academy in Munich, pupil of Quaglio and Jank.
