Crossed line mark, 2nd half of the 19th century, model no. 9080, designed by Otto Poerzel (1876 Scheibe - 1963 Coburg) after the painting "Bonaparte crossing the Alps at the Great Saint Bernard" by the French painter Jacques Louis David, painted in 1800.
Polychrome painted, decorated in gold. H 33 cm.
Napoleon seated on a rising horse on a high pedestal ending with a rock, his right hand pointing forward, the inscription "Bonaparte Annibal Karolus Magnus MP. / Napoleon Bonaparte Ier Consul au Passage des Alpes". Hand loosely inserted. Verso hairline crack in the base.
