Patinated bronze. Inscribed, foundry mark Daubrée. H 28 cm. 4.2 kg.
Finely chiseled bust of a woman looking up with water plants in her long hair covering her chest. Above her forehead is a dragonfly.
Belgian sculptor, pupil of Puyenbroeck at the Brussels Academy, also active as curator of the sculpture department at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts.
