50 x 61 cm. Framed : 59.5 x 70.5 cm (gold stucco frame).
Two flower bouquets with bright flowers in two different vessels. One small restored area with backing.
French painter, pupil of Duboe, Cabanel and Quost. Regularly represented at the Paris Salon since 1874 with flower and genre pieces. In his later years, he turned mainly to decorative painting and embellished the walls of a school in the 6th arrondissement with flowers from different seasons.
