If Johanna Aloisia Meier-Michel, then: Austrian sculptor and craftswoman, was one of the few documented students of the sculptor Richard Kauffungen. From 1901 to 1905, she continued her studies at the Vienna School of Arts and Crafts, where she studied metal sculpture with Stefan Schwartz and enamel art with Adele von Stark. She undertook study trips to Munich, Paris and Italy.
