A standing woman breastfeeding the naked infant in her arms; possibly the depiction of Caritas. Surface partly soiled.
If Louis Sauvageau, then French sculptor (1822 - 1874). He also created the fountain on the Place aux Gueldres in Saint-Denis near Paris, which has now disappeared.
